Eyes of a child
I think we forget sometimes how much kids know. They see the world differently to us and they’re powerful for it. They see the bright and the beautiful and they act without hesitation. Adults walk and talk but kids leap and bound. The curiosity sparkles in their eyes at every new thing they find delight in and they dream. They dream as wide and deep as a tunnel in a playground is for a child – endless. The world is filled with labyrinths and mazes for a child, yet for an adult it is simply a map on a screen. Some adults retain their ability to leap and dream, but they’re only a few. We say that kids rely on us to guide them but it’s the other way round; nobody’s eyes are better for seeing the world, than those of a child.
